A car is initially moving with a velocity of 3 m/s. then it accelerates uniformly at the rate of 0.6 m/s^2 for 5 seconds. Determine the distance traveled by the car in 5 seconds.

    From the data given, the final velocity is equal to 6 m/s. This is from the equation a = vf - vo / t. The second kinetic equation to be used to determine the distance traveled is 2ax = vf2 - vo2. Substituting, 2*0.6*x = 6^2 - 3^2; x then is equal to 22.5 meters
