If the forces acting on an object are balanced, what is that objects acceleration?

If the group of all forces acting on a body is balanced, then the

net force on it is zero, just as if there were no force on it at all.

In that situation, the body continues moving in a straight line

at constant speed. In other words, its acceleration is zero.
