The process in which nuclei with small masses are combined to form a nucleus with a larger mass.

    When nuclei with small masses come close enough to each other they react and form one bigger nucleus with a larger mass. This process is called Nuclear Fusion. This binding releases huge amount of energy because of the difference in the masses of the nucleis.
