Which statement correctly describes a chemical reaction? Reactants come out of a reaction. Energy is always released. Bonds between atoms break and new bonds form. Products go into a reaction.

    The answer is bonds between atoms break and new bonds form. In order for a chemical change to happen, a new substance/substances (products) have to form that have different properties from the reactants. The bonds in the reactants break and new bonds form in the products.
