    Yes it will change it acceleration on a opposite direction

    That's right. When an object with a constant speed changes its direction,

    it will be accelerating. "Acceleration" does NOT mean "speeding up".

    It means ANY change in the speed or direction of motion. So if an object

    is speeding up, slowing down, or turning, then it's accelerating.
