How much work os done on a 10N block that is lifted 5 meters off the ground by a pulley?

    Work = (force) x (distance)

    When a force of 10 newtons acts through a distance of 5 meters,

    the work done is (10newtons x 5meters) = 50 joules.

    It makes no difference what the purpose of the job is,

    or what kind of contraption you use to do it.
