    The work done is the product of the force exerted and the displacement of the object in the same direction as the force. Mathematically,

    Work = Force x displacement

    Substituting the known values,

    Work = (2.0 N) x (3.0 m) = 6 Nm

    Thus, the positive work done is 6 Nm.
