That 1.5kg hawk is now soaring at 20m/s. What is the hawk's kinetic energy? Show your work and include all units.

    Kinetic energy = (1/2) x (mass) x (speed) ²

    = (1/2) x (1.5 kg) x (20 m/s) ²

    = (0.75 kg) x (400 m²/s²)

    = 300 joules
