    The description required is the same as the one on the land and sea breezes.

    On the heated land, the ground gains heat energy and heats the air on top of it. When this air is heated it expands and becomes less dense. It rises and the cold dense air from the land that is not much heated flows to replace it. Thus cold air flows to the heated land. The hot air moves up then flow to replace the cold air forming a kind of a cycle.

    This process repeats itself as long as one land is heated more than the other.
