    So all you have to do is use this equation P=mv. the "m" as you guessed it represents mass in Kilograms, and the "v" represents velocity. The capital P is used to represent momentum, so all you have to do is plug in. P = 1000kg • 23 m/s which would give you 23,000 kg/m/s but since you're talking about a boat, you would have to convert the tons to kilograms (which I'm assuming that's what the unit is) in that case it would be approximately ... 907,185 kg, but we aren't done yet. So that would leave you with 20,8652,55 kg/m/s. Theres a simple reason for converting to Kg, and that's because it's a rule in the math of calculating momentum. Good day, to you!
