An eagle flies from its perch in a tree to the ground to capture it's prey. describe it's energy transformations.

    The eagle is on top of the tree. It is not in motion so it has potential energy.

    It has the potential of falling and having energy.

    Once the Eagle falls from the tree it is now moving and has Kinetic energy.

    It's energy has transferred from Potential energy to Kinetic Energy.
