A helicopter hovers 200 meters over the ground and releases a relief packet. How much time does it take for the food packet to reach the ground?

    I think it would take about ~6.39 seconds

    D = (1/2) at^2

    (Where initial velocity is 0m/s)

    200m = (1/2) (9.8 m/s^2) (t^2)

    Sqrt (2x200m) / (9.8m/s^2) = t

    T = ~6.39 seconds (assuming no air resistance)
