    Nuclear reactors use uranium, consisting of solid ceramic pellets. The uranium atoms split through the process of fission which produces heat energy. Nuclear power plants obtains the heat needed to form steam that rotates the turbine to produce electrical energy which is being distributed to houses wherein electrical energy is utilized to different appliances.
