What happens to carbohydrates during cellular respiration?

    The microorganisms trap the energy in the sunlight by the process called as photosynthesis. Carbohydrates is mainly glucose, but other types of microorganisms are not able to follow this process. Therefore these organisms must rely upon prformed carbohydrates in the environment so that it obtains energy for its metabolic processes.
