What would happen if you touched the knob of a positively charged electroscope with a negatively charged object

    Rearrangement of electrons on a neutral object caused by a nearby charged object. electrically neutral objects can become charged when they gain or lose electric charges. what would happened if you touched the knob of a positively charged object. the leaves of the electro scope would remain apart.
