    B) gas is produced.

    a) is wrong because hydrogen is an odorless gas. c) is wrong because when compounds disappear, its not necessarily because of a chemical reaction e. g. when sugar dissolves in water no chemical reaction takes place. d) is wrong because there is an increase in temperature.
