    If the distance between two objects is multiplied by 4, then the

    gravitational force between them is multiplied by (1/4²) = 1/16.

    So in order to maintain the same force of gravity between them,

    you would need the product of the two masses to be multiplied

    by 16. This can be accomplished by multiplying the mass of

    either object by 16.
