A small plastic building brick (like a Lego piece) and a ceramic piggy bank filled with coins are displayed on the same shelf. Which has more potential energy? Why?

    Potential energy = mass x g x height (where g is the acceleration due to gravity). Since ceramic generally has a higher density compared to plastic, the ceramic piggy has more mass, hence has more potential energy.
