Viscosity is the quantity that describes a fluid's resistance to flow. If the paint is less viscous, it would cause a greater amount of splatter and the drops of paint formed on the paper would be of a smaller diameter, and vice versa. Its Newton's law of viscosity. It also relates to Newton's second law of motion and Newton's third law of motion.
