Lance has a moment of inertia of 420 kg m2 while riding the Rotor. The floor of the Rotor drops out from under its riders once it reaches the angular velocity (_ omega) of 1.6 radians per second. Calculate his angular momentum.

    The angular momentum of an object is given by:

    L = Iω; I is the moment of inertia and ω is the angular velocity.

    L = 420 x 1.6

    L = 672 kg m²/s
