Each energy level has at least one orbital with two electrons. The orbits are located in the sublevels and there can be more than one sublevel as the number of energy levels increase. On energy level one, there is one sublevel and one orbital. Energy level two can have two sublevels and two orbitals. These continue to grow as you move from the center of the atom, ending up with an unlimited possible number of levels and orbits.
