A toaster oven draws 300.0 watts of power. if it is plugged into an outlet with a voltage of 115 volts, what current is in the toaster's circuit?

    Power drawn by the toaster = 300 Watt

    Voltage = 115 volts

    We already know

    Power = Voltage * Current

    Then

    Current = Power/Voltage

    = 300/115

    = 2.61 amps

    From the above deduction, it can be said that 2.61 amps is the current that is present in the toasters circuit.
