How does the amount or magnitude of a charge on an object affect is attraction or repulsion of another object

If an object is positively charged and another objecy negatively, they will attract each other. The more positive object A or the more negative object B is charged, the stronger the attraction. However, if an two object are similarly charged they will repulse. The stronger the charge, the bigger the repulse.
