    According to Newton's second law:

    τ = Iα, where I is the moment of inertia and α is the angular acceleration.

    Angular acceleration can be written as:

    α = (ωf - ωi) / t

    α = ωf/t

    Substituting into the second law:

    τ = Iωf/t
