Describe scalar and vector quantities. Include a definition and provide at least one example of how they are alike and how they are different.

    Scalar quantities have only magnitude. example temperature, distance.

    Vector quantities have magnitude and direction. Example force, velocity.

    You can say "I applied a force p/of 3 newtons to the left" but you can't say I added 32 Fahrenheit to the left
