What does a = (vf-vi) / t mean in science

    Acceleration = (final velocity-initial velocity) / time You can also look at it as acceleration=change in velocity/time

    This is the equation for acceleration. it is mostly used in physics

    acceleeration = final velocity subtracted by initial velocity divided by time
