    Using the formula:

    v = fλ, where v is the speed of the wave, f is its frequency and λ is its wavelength.

    The speed of ultraviolet light is equal to that of light. Therefore:

    f = v/λ

    f = 3 x 10⁸ / 300 x 10⁻⁹

    f = 1 x 10¹⁵ Herz
