    The resultant of the acceleration can be found using:

    a = √ (ax² + ay²)

    a = √ (1.5² + 3.7²)

    a = 3.99 m/s²

    v = u + at, u = 0

    v = 3.99 x 6.4

    v = 25.5 m/s
