What does control mean in science

    A control in a scientific experiment means that you have it to know what would happen to something without being acted upon. Such as if you were doing an osmosis lab you would have beakers and bags filled with varying water solutions and one control beaker and bag filled with distilled water.

    That YOU control it yourself like a control variable is something you change in an experiment to alter the outcome
