A cat falls from a table of height 1.3 m. What is the impact speed of the cat?

    To find the impact speed for an object that falls from rest, use the formula:

    Vf = sqrt (2gh)

    vf is the final velocity/impact speed

    g is acceleration due to gravity (9.81m/s^2)

    h is the height in metres

    so sub the height into the formula and solve for Vf : - )
