    photosynthesis formula

    6CO2 + 6H2O - > C6H12O6 + 6O2

    *arrow means light energy

    so you can see in the equation that co2 is the input for photosynthesis and o2 os the output. so more o2 does nothing benificial for photosynthesis, instead increased co2 is very benificial.
