Explain whether or not a particle would have acceleration if (a) it's moving in a straight line with constant speed, and (b) moving around a curve with constant speed

    A particle that is moving in a straight line with constant speed will have zero acceleration or no acceleration causing it to move continuously. However, for a particle moving around a curve with constant speed will have a centrifugal acceleration. Hope this answers the question.
