Two vectors A and B have components (0,1) and (-1,3), respectively. What is magnitude of the sum of these two vectors?

    We first add the x and y components of the vector to get the x and y components of the resultant vector:

    (0 - 1, 1 + 3)

    -1, 4

    magnitude = √ (1² + 4²)

    magnitude = 4.12

    The answer is B
