If all vegetation in the pond died what effect would it have on the animals? and why

    It will have a big affect on the animals because then the herbivores won't have anything to eat, then all of the herbivores will die. Then the carnivores, which eat the herbivores will die also because they do not have anything to eat. So without the vegetation, all of the animals near the pond, will die.
