    The vertical component of the stone's initial velocity is 0 because it was projected horizontally.

    The horizontal component:

    velocity = displacement / time

    Vx = 60 / 3.19

    Vx = 18.8 m/s

    V = Vx

    So the stone's initial velocity is 18.8 m/s
