    A type of long-termmemory that stands in contrast to explicit memory in that it doesn't require conscious thought.

    Implicit memory is unconscious and involuntary memory we collect. Like those bad memories of mistakes you have made that you just can't get rid of, and you usually have a very good memory of the goof up because your brain involuntarily remembers anything it takes as danger.
