There is no relationship whatsoever between the size

    and weight of an object.

It's true that if you have ONE object, then cutting it in half

reduces its weight by half, and adding another identical object

    to it doubles its weight.

But if I simply tell you the size of an object in my house, then

you have no way to estimate its weight. And vice versa ... if

I tell you its weight, you have no way of guessing its size.

To put size and weight in scientific terms, this is technically volume and mass. Volume is the space the object takes up, while the mass is how the molecules weigh in a confined space.
