Why do natural events that eject large amounts of dust and gas high into the atmosphere cause rapid, global climate changes

    This is known as the Greenhous effect. The reason why the air causes gobal climate changes is because the Gas that is released is hot and causes temperture to change faster. This mostly happens when gases are heated to quickly because of the sun.
