When a nuclear power accident occurs: all of the effects are seen immediately. the effects are powerful yet fleeting. only a small radius surrounding the accident is affected. radiation may stick around for a long time and cause cancer.

    Out of the four the last one is true - " radiation may stick around for a long time and cause cancer". The other three are false - some effects will be long-lasting, they may affect large areas, and are not necessarily apparent immediately.
