What happens when a rubber balloon is rubbed against wool and gains electrons?

    It becomes "magnetized" as you could say but it will gain electrons and the wool will loose electrons and become positively charged while balloon becomes negatively charged which attracted positivity charged objects which in this case is the wool and the balloon.

    The balloon becomes negative charged and the wool becomes positive charged.
