Acceleration due to gravity is the speed at which a body naturally falls as a result of the pull of gravity. Any object with mass exerts gravitational pull. The more massive an object it the greater the pull of gravity. If Jupiter's acceleration due to gravity is twice that of Neptune it can be deduced that Jupiter is more massive than Neptune.
