Kinetic energy affects the stopping distance of small vehicles and large vehicles differently. it takes more distance for a larger vehicle to stop. depending on but not limited to how fast the vehicle is going and how much that particular vehicle weighs, the stopping distance will vary accordingly. and the more kinetic energy means the longer the stopping distance.
