    1 kg = 2.2 pound

    so, 40 kg = 2.2*40 = 88 pounds!

1 kg is 2.2 pounds, so what you'll do is times the kg with 2.2 pounds.

    1 kg * 2.2 pounds = 2.2 pounds

    40 kg * 2.2 = 88 pounds
