    The jet that flew East:

    1 hour = 220 miles

    The jet that flew West:

    1 hour = 450 miles

After an hour, the total distance apart will be:

    220 + 450 = 670 miles

    2010 : 670 = 3 hours

It will take 3 hours for them to be 2010 mile apart.

    Answer: 3 hours
