Explain what it means to say that both the atmosphere and forests are carbon reservoirs. How is carbon transferred back and forth between them?

    The carbon cycle is the circulation and transformation of carbon back and forth between living things and the environment. The forests are cut down and burned as a fuel the and the carbon is released back to atmosphere. When new trees grow they use and store the carbon in the trunks. And process continues.
