In a random sample of 200 cars of a particular model 3 have a manufacturing defect at this rate how many of 10000 cars of the same model will have manufacturing defect

    150 this is how you find it

    Ok so you 10,000 cars you divide that by 200

    That is going to give you 50 groups of 200 and if each 200 cars have 3 cars with a defect you just do 50•3

    Which is how you get 150 cats
