Natural gas is comprised of methane with small amounts of ethane, propane, butane and pentane.

The simpler molecular structure of natural gas enables a clean burn, so it's combustion does not produce solid particles or sulpher. It is used for heating, cooking, electricity generation and fuel for some cars.
