    Natural scientists typically use experimentation to control the setting and variables of their study. However, experimenting with human behavior becomes tricky ethically and the human is composed of many variables which is hard to control.

    Ethnographic studies, observational studies in the real setting of people, give a truer sense of human behavior and prevent the censoring of behavior many people will do when they know they are being watched or experimented.
