The treatment is called social rhythm therapy. This form of psychotherapy was first purported by Ellen Frank. The premise behind this treatment is that stressful events as well as disruptions in one's interpersonal relationships and circadian rhythm often leads to relapses. As such, establishing daily routines, including waking, sleeping, and eat, may reduce such relapses from occurring.
