    Many factors could come in to play when discussing why family's are on the decline, but one has to do with couples getting divorced at a fast rate, and the decline with new generations believing its to old fashioned to be married and be with just one partner. Resulting in smaller groups of family's.

This case is imperfect in two regards: to start with, it regards the family as a causal operator, instead of an impression of social conditions; and secondly, it overlooks basic purposes behind family breakdown.
